20 Best Ski Resorts in Wisconsin

A guide to the best ski resorts in Wisconsin for an amazing winter getaway in Wisconsin

Winter in Wisconsin brings 40 to 50 inches of seasonal snowfall, resulting in a skiing season lasting from early November to mid-April. Resorts usually open earlier in the north, since this part of the state receives more snowfall than the south.

Although the northern part of the state is more popular with experienced skiers, thanks to fewer crowds and more challenging trails overall, all of Wisconsin offers skiing opportunities for visitors of all ages and skill levels.

Prices and special offers vary at each resort. If you’re on a budget, check whether the resort offers night skiing.
