During one of my trips to Tenerife, I stayed at Los Jardines de Abama Suites, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice as I had the opportunity to do many activities in Tenerife in winter.

This luxurious resort offers so many amenities that make it the perfect place to unwind during a winter getaway.

The golf course was top-notch and kept me entertained for hours on end. And when I wasn’t on the green, I could easily keep up with my laundry thanks to the on-site facilities.

Families will love the kids’ club and fitness center, while the terrace and garden offer plenty of space to relax and soak up the sunshine.

As for dining options, we had our pick of four restaurants, each offering unique and delicious cuisine.

And our room? It was nothing short of amazing. Equipped with a balcony, air-conditioning, a coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, and safety deposit box, we had everything we needed and then some.

The room service made our stay even more comfortable.

The free parking and bike hire were a huge bonus, and we loved that the resort was just 1.7 miles from Playa del Barranco de Erques.

If you’re wondering where to stay in Tenerife in January or don’t know if you should spend Christmas in Tenerife, the Los Jardines de Abama Suites come highly recommended.

2. Gran Melia Palacio de Isora Resort & Spa – Alcalá

The Gran Melia Palacio de Isora Resort & Spa in Tenerife is among the greatest places to go for opulent vacations.
This resort has it all, including magnificent ocean views, luxurious lodging, and a plethora of entertaining activities for guests to enjoy.
It’s simple to unwind here, whether it’s by the amazing lagoon pool or by spending the afternoon in the spa.
But this hotel’s dedication to families is what makes it unique. The dedicated kids’ club, which has a water park, mini-golf course, and sports courts, will please kids.

However, since the resort is located on Tenerife’s stunning shore and offers a wealth of activities close by, there’s no reason to spend the entire day on the grounds.

There’s plenty to do, whether it’s visiting the local museums or taking a boat cruise to observe whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.

The Gran Melia Palacio de Isora Resort & Spa in Tenerife, Spain, is a wonderful choice for making experiences that will last a lifetime for people looking for spa hotels in Tenerife.
