I stayed there last summer, and it was hands down one of the best places to stay in Tenerife. 

The accommodations are totally luxurious, with air conditioning, satellite TV, and the most incredible views of the ocean, mountains, or hotel gardens. 

But the real highlight for me was the spa – with 3 outdoor pools, indoor pools, a Japanese sauna, Turkish baths AND free unlimited access for guests over 16, I was in heaven.

From the seasonal heated outdoor pool to the stunning views of the sea, mountain, or pool from some of the rooms, this hotel has it all. 

The rooms are air-conditioned with a terrace and flat-screen TV, and even the bathrooms are stocked with free toiletries and a hairdryer.

If you’re looking for a touch of luxury during your visit to Tenerife, I highly recommend checking out the Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey in Santa Cruz. 

The colonial-style building is absolutely stunning, and the smart rooms are just as impressive. 

I loved the hardwood floors and modern decor – it really gave the place a stylish edge. Plus, with free high-speed WiFi throughout the hotel, I was never out of touch.

The restaurant, Los Menceyes, was a clear highlight for me. 

The local dishes were delicious and the Bar Casino and lobby bar were great places to kick back and relax. 

As for location, the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area but it’s still just a 5 minute drive from the ferry port and there are plenty of bus stops within walking distance. 

All in all, I’d say this is one of the best 5-star luxury hotels in Tenerife, especially when you plan to visit Tenerife in January. 

5. Silken Atlántida – Santa Cruz de Tenerife

When I was looking for the perfect place to stay in Tenerife in February, I stumbled upon the Silken Atlántida in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. 

Let me tell you, this hotel blew me away! Located right in the heart of the financial district, I enjoyed panoramic sea views from the glass elevators and rooftop terrace. 

And when I wasn’t out exploring the things to do in Santa Cruz, I took advantage of the fitness center, sun terraces, two saunas and two hot tubs on site. 

The executive floor is truly something special, with 24/7 coffee and snacks, free WiFi, and exclusive service. 

The rooms were luxurious and had all the amenities I needed, including classic décor, air conditioning, satellite TV, and beautiful city/sea views. 

Oh, and did I mention the restaurant? The Silken Atlántida serves up delicious Mediterranean cuisine and Canarian dishes with a variety of wines to choose from.

The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from the airport. It was the perfect place to stay for my February travels, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing experience in Tenerife.

I’ve found one of the best places to stay in Tenerife in February – the Europe Villa Cortes GL in Playa de las Américas. 

The European-style villa is located right on the seafront, offering stunning ocean views.

Not only does it have a fitness room and spa, but there are also six restaurants with gourmet dining options and three bars to choose from, including a laid-back beach bar.

I love that the rooms come with private balconies and beautiful custom-made Mexican furniture. The outdoor pool is perfect for lounging, and there’s even a children’s area for families. 

Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy the tennis court or take a break on the sun terrace with Balinese beds. 

It’s a quick 20-25-minute drive from Tenerife Sur Airport and close to the Las Américas Golf Course.

No wonder couples highly rate it for the fantastic location alone as one of the best hotels in Tenerife on the beach.

The hotel is stunning, with outdoor pools surrounded by beautiful Roman columns and marble statues of gods.

The spa, gym, and tennis courts were perfect for staying active, but my favorite part was the large outdoor pool. 

The rooms were decorated in vibrant Canarian colors and all had their own private balconies, which was a lovely touch. 

The buffet offered delicious international food, and Bar Vitamina had fantastic snacks and fresh juice. 

You can even take advantage of the hairdressing salon and boutique shop while your kids will be thrilled with the children’s play area. 

All in all, it was a fantastic stay – and with nearby things to do in South Tenerife like the Safari Shopping Center, Las Américas Golf Course, and Siam Water Park, there’s so much to explore in the area.

10. Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur – Los Cristianos

I have to start off by saying – Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur – Adults Only is hands down one of the best hotels in Los Cristianos. 

I mean, seriously, as soon as I arrived and saw the stunning views of La Gomera Island from my window, I knew I was in for a treat. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. 

The tropical gardens surrounding the outdoor pool are a dream come true. I spent so much time lounging by the poolside bar with a drink in my hand and taking in the relaxed vibe of the place. 

The buffet restaurant with show cooking was also a highlight – you get a private performance as your food is being prepared right in front of you. 

And the rooms? So bright and airy! Mine even had a bathtub, which was a real luxury. But honestly, what really set this place apart were the two chill-out terraces with ocean views. 

Talk about the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. All in all, I’d highly recommend Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur to anyone looking for Tenerife all-inclusive adults-only hotels in Los Cristianos.

11. Beverly Hills Suites – Excel Hotels & Resorts – Los Cristianos

If you still don’t know where to stay in Tenerife in February? The last option on my list is budget-friendly accommodation and I’d really recommend the Beverly Hills Suites – Excel Hotels & Resorts in Los Cristianos. 

It boasts an outdoor pool and terrace, and the fully equipped studios and apartments also offer stunning sea views. 

And if you’re feeling active, tennis and billiards are on site. The area is popular for cycling if you want to explore beyond the hotel.
