I stayed there recently, and let me tell you, it was the perfect getaway. The best part? You get a complimentary breakfast every morning! 

After a day of exploring the area, you can return and unwind in the sauna or hot tub. 

Plus, all the rooms have WiFi, so you can stay connected while away. They also have an indoor pool, meeting rooms, and wedding services available. 

Oh, and the staff? They were super helpful. I recommend this spot if you’re looking for resorts in northeast Wisconsin.

As I walked into the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in Two Rivers, I immediately felt welcomed by the friendly staff. 

And the fact that the hotel was pet-friendly just made my stay even better. My furry friend was equally excited to explore the spacious room equipped with all the amenities we needed, including free WiFi and a comfortable down comforter. 

The hotel also offered a free breakfast buffet and manager’s reception, a great way to start and end the day. 

My favorite part of the hotel was the recreational facilities, which included an indoor pool, not to mention being very close to some of the best Northern Wisconsin ski resorts.

I also appreciated that the hotel was committed to being sustainable and eco-friendly, which aligns with my values as a traveler.

I have always loved visiting resorts in Northern Wisconsin, and one of my recent favorites is the Baymont by Wyndham Plymouth.

The pleasant and friendly attitude struck me as soon as I stepped inside. In addition, I couldn’t wait to use the hotel’s fantastic amenities, which included a gym and hot tub. 

I  was struck by the dedication to sustainability, though. The hotel has incorporated several environmentally friendly measures, encouraging visitors to recycle and use energy-efficient lighting.

And with nearby attractions like the Evergreen Golf Course, there’s plenty to see and do while still minimizing your impact on the environment.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting some of the most stunning vacation resorts in Wisconsin, the Hotel Retlaw, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Fond du Lac.

I can confidently say it was one of the best vacation resorts in Wisconsin I’ve ever been to. The hotel was recently revitalized in 2019 and boasts a prime location near the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac and Lakeside Park.

The onsite brasserie, Table One, served up delicious meals and the coffee shop/cafe was perfect for a quick caffeine fix.

The clean and comfortable rooms were equipped with premium bedding, Egyptian cotton sheets, rainfall showers, and designer toiletries.

Plus, the gym and free in-room WiFi were great amenities to have. I highly recommend this upscale hotel for your next Wisconsin getaway.

But, my favorite spot on the property was the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing sore muscles after hiking or biking. The gym, fireplace in the lobby, and free WiFi in the rooms were also highlights of my stay.

One that stands out is the Hampton Inn Fond du Lac, which accommodates furry friends and offers an array of amenities to enhance your stay. 

The little details, like the laptop-compatible safes and free weekday newspapers, made me feel right at home. 

And the icing on the cake? A free breakfast buffet that hit the spot every morning.

I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Oshkosh, a hotel in the lovely suburbs of Wisconsin. 

I was excited to take advantage of the free continental breakfast. Nothing beats a hot cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast to start the day off right. 

The hotel also offered dry cleaning/laundry services and a gym, which is excellent for those who want to stay active while on vacation.

I appreciated the free in-room WiFi and business center, as I was able to get some work done during my stay. 

The hotel also had a computer station, vending machine, and a 24-hour front desk for convenience. 

The 96 rooms were comfortable and clean, with premium bedding and air conditioning. I enjoyed the HDTVs with premium channels and the bathrooms’ complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. 

The hotel was pet-friendly, always a plus for those traveling with furry friends.

 The area’s natural beauty could be seen at Menominee Park and Lake Winnebago, while Paine Art Center and Gardens and Oshkosh Public Museum were notable cultural highlights.

I enjoy traveling to different locations, so this hotel was my ideal getaway.

I could engage in my enthusiasm for flying due to its great position next to the Experimental Aircraft Association Flying Center and Museum. 

It was also conveniently close to big business locations such as Oshkosh Truck and Kimberly Clark. 

Plus, with its proximity to Fond Du Lac, Appleton, and Green Bay, there’s no shortage of activities to explore in northeast Wisconsin.

There’s nothing quite like a getaway to northern Wisconsin resorts on lakes. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heidel House Hotel and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. 

I felt like I had entered a different universe as soon as I arrived. The hotel’s location on the lake made for the ideal vista while sipping drinks at the poolside bar. 

And speaking of drinks, there are plenty of options at the hotel’s bars and restaurants. I highly recommend dining onsite at one of the two delicious restaurants. 

Besides the stunning location and great dining options, Heidel House Hotel has all the amenities you could want and more. 

The gym was well-equipped, the WiFi was reliable, and there were plenty of pools for lounging around. And for those needing to host an event, there are 10 meeting rooms. 

My stay at Heidel House Hotel was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lakeside retreat in northern Wisconsin.

This place is a stone’s throw away from fantastic attractions like the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts and offers some pretty sweet perks. 

Think free water park access, beachfront dining, an onsite spa, and mini golf. And let’s remember the pools, lazy river, and waterslide – perfect for a day of relaxation or family fun.

The 36 holes of golf are just the tip of the iceberg regarding amenities at this luxury resort.

Guests can indulge in a massage, body wrap, and reflexology at the Kohler Waters Spa while others may prefer to try out ice skating, cycling, or horseback riding. 

When it’s time to fuel up, there are three on-site restaurants to choose from, while the coffee shop/cafe is the perfect spot for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. 

Each of the 241 rooms features luxurious amenities like Frette Italian sheets and down comforters, and bathrooms equipped with designer toiletries. 

The American Club offers something for everyone, whether you’re searching for adventure or relaxation.

13. Watershed Hotel – Sheboygan

I was lucky enough to visit one of the best hotels in Sheboygan recently – the Watershed Hotel.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the cozy fireplace in the lobby and the friendly staff who helped me check in. 

The amenities are top-notch, including free continental breakfast, free self-parking, and coffee/tea available in the lobby. 

Plus, the 24-hour business center and computer station were incredibly helpful as I had some work to do during my stay. 

However, the highlight for me was the beautiful natural surroundings – the Watershed Hotel is located close to Lake Michigan and Kohler-Andrae State Park, which I thoroughly enjoyed exploring. 

As a sustainable tourist, I find it significant that the hotel is likewise environmentally friendly. All in all, the rooms’ quality and spaciousness pleased me, and I can’t wait to return to this fantastic Wisconsin resort.

But that’s not all – as a shopping addict, I was overjoyed to find out that the Inn had a grocery/convenience store and other shopping options on-site.

As I made my way to my room, I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the premium bedding with hypoallergenic and Egyptian cotton sheets, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep.
