Within the scope of the first Blog Award in Luxembourg, Kachen.lu organized yet another opportunity to gather Luxembourgish bloggers. This time we were invited to spend a lovely afternoon in one of Luxembourg City’s most fancy hotels: Hotel Le Royal.

Even though I passed many times along Hotel Le Royal and was well aware of its sophisticated hospitality, I never set a foot inside before.

Well, let me assure you that especially after tasting its fine cuisine, I definitely got a reason to go back to the lovely Hotel Le Royal…

No wonder it is considered one of the best places to stay in Luxembourg City.

Thus I was even happier when Kachen.lu, Luxembourg’s only cooking & Lifestyle magazine, gave us the opportunity to meet the competent team of Hotel Le Royal who gave us a private room tour through its recently renovated interior.

Of course, in Luxembourg, such an event has to be accompanied by the best local cava and a demonstration of the Hotel Le Royal’s Maître Patissier. Exclusively for this event, he had prepared some breathtaking and colorful pastry creations.

These are the moments when you feel that this “blogging thing” sometimes is worth all the work behind it.

Hotel Le Royal is located in the heart of Luxembourg City, only a few minutes walk away from the capital’s main sights such as Place d’Armes, Casemates or the Cathedral. It has 170 rooms, fully renovated, which makes it the perfect location for private or larger business events.

The Piano Bar with its sophisticated light design is well known in town just as its first-class restaurants “Amélys” and “La Pomme Cannelle”. Whereas Amélys offers more traditional cuisine, thus perfect for lunch, La Pomme Cannelle guarantees you the finest experience of French gastronomic cuisine.

As I want to highlight eco-friendly efforts as much as possible, I can’t leave aside Hotel Le Royal’s commitment to preserving the environment. They facilitate the use of public transport such as buses, bicycles and the hotel’s free shuttle. For me personally, the bike is still one of the best ways to discover the Luxembourgish capital.

Although the visit of Hotel Le Royal, one of the Leading Hotels in the World, was undertaken very quickly, I was able to take along a lovely first sensation.

Let me share with you some of my impressions of our exclusive visit of Hotel Le Royal.

A pesar de que he pasado muchas veces a lo largo de Hotel Le Royal y estaba muy consciente de su sofisticada hospitalidad, nunca lo había pisado antes.

Pues te aseguro que, sobre todo después de probar su buena cocina, definitivamente tengo una razón para volver al Hotel Le Royal … 

Así que estaba aún más feliz cuando Kachen.lu, la única revista de cocina en Luxemburgo, nos dio la oportunidad de conocer al equipo del Hotel Le Royal. Nos dio un tour privado por su interior y con sus habitaciones habitación renovadas.

Por supuesto, en Luxemburgo un evento así tiene que venir acompañado del mejor cava local y de una demostración del Maître Patissier del hotel. Exclusivamente para este evento, había preparado algunas creaciones pasteleras que te dejarán sin aliento. 

Estos son los momentos en los que sientes que esto de “blogging” a veces vale la pena de todo el trabajo. 

Hotel Le Royal está situado en el corazón de Luxemburgo, a sólo unos minutos a pie de las principales atracciones de la capital, como la Plaza de Armas, Casamatas o la catedral. Cuenta con 170 habitaciones, totalmente renovadas, lo que lo hace el lugar ideal para eventos de negocios o privados. 

El Piano Bar con su diseño sofisticado luz es bien conocido en la ciudad al igual que sus restaurantes de primera clase “Amelys” y “La Pomme Cannelle”. Mientras que Amélys ofrece una cocina más tradicional, por lo tanto ideal para el almuerzo, La Pomme Cannelle garantiza la mejor experiencia de la cocina francesa. 

Como quiero destacar los esfuerzos ecológicos tanto como sea posible, no puedo dejar a un lado de Hotel Le Royal se compromete para preservar el medio ambiente. Facilitan el uso de transporte público, como autobuses, bicicletas y transporte gratuito del hotel. Para mí, personalmente, la bici sigue siendo una de las mejores maneras de descubrir la capital luxemburguesa. 

Aunque la visita de Hotel Le Royal se hizo muy rápidamente, me alegré de poder recibir una preciosa primera sensación.
